Explore the luminous and expressive world of watercolor in this foundational class designed for adult artists of all levels. Whether you’re new to painting or returning after a creative break, this course offers a welcoming space to build technique, confidence, and personal style.

Each session will guide you through essential watercolor skills including washes, wet-on-wet vs. wet-on-dry application, layering, color mixing, brush control, and composition. You’ll also explore how to paint a variety of subjects, from landscapes and botanicals to still life.

With plenty of room for experimentation, this class emphasizes both structured skill-building and creative freedom. You’ll receive individual guidance in a supportive, small-group environment that encourages artistic growth at your own pace.

Build your confidence and deepen your creative practice in this mixed-media class designed to strengthen essential drawing and painting skills. Whether you’re a beginner or an artist returning to the studio after time away, this course offers a solid foundation in both technique and self-expression.

Through guided lessons and hands-on exploration, you’ll develop skills in line, value, proportion, perspective, composition, and color theory. We’ll work with a range of materials including pencil, charcoal, watercolor, and acrylic, to help you discover your visual language and gain comfort across mediums.

Each class blends structured exercises with open-ended projects, allowing you to experiment while building technical fluency. Expect a supportive environment that encourages curiosity, risk-taking, and personal growth at every level.

This class invites artists of all levels to slow down, look closely, and translate what they see into expressive, accurate drawings.

Working from real-life subjects, including still life arrangements, natural forms, and the human figure- you’ll explore essential techniques like gesture, proportion, contour, shading, and composition. Emphasis is placed on developing your ability to truly see, not just as an artist, but as an observer of form, light, and space.

Through a mix of guided exercises, demos, and longer studies, you’ll build confidence in drawing what’s in front of you while cultivating a deeper connection between hand, eye, and mind. This is a focused yet supportive space to slow down and refine your skills, whether you’re new to observational drawing or looking to reconnect with foundational practice.
